Project Manager

The Project Manager owns the process to bring the clients vision to reality.  From start to finish, the project manager will create, source, estimate, fabricate, and deliver for our clients on aggressive timelines in a fast pace environment. The PM will manage high profile projects from concept and sampling through production, shipping and final billing. This candidate will be the liaison with the creative and production staff, and must be able to manage a large scope of work and all creative consultants and client relations. This person will be responsible for budgeting all projects and materials purchased. Must be able to develop and manage work-back schedules and have supreme quality control with an elevated eye and attention to detail.

Creative Assistant (Currently Filled, Always Interviewing)

The Creative Assistant will support all things creative in the studio. This candidate should be great at multitasking and extremely organized and goal oriented. Should be willing to be a team player and pick up and and all creative projects. Will work direction with the Senior Project Manager, Creative Development Director, Director of Creative Marketing & Sales, and the VP of Creative.

THIS ROLE WILL SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

CREATIVE

  • Create seasonal mood boards for internal and external use.
  • Maintain and support the visual installations in the showroom area .
  • Shop for items needed from local stores – Michaels, JoAnn’s, Hobby Lobby... etc. 
  • Ability to pick paper, match pantones, choose fabrics with little guidance (good eye for design).
  • Photograph products in the creative room for look books and case contents.
  • Pull materials from materials library for samples, sample cases, and orders. 
  • Create field and competitive research documents seasonally.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Occasionally assist project managers with sourcing new materials and props.
  • Pull photos from server for photo requests and tear sheets.
  • Photograph products in the creative room for look books, case contents etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Creative Sales Rep

The Creative Sales Rep will aim to grow the opportunities available to Judith von Hopf within the wider context of the marketplace. This person will leverage customer relationships, knowledge of the industry, and visual expertise to gain and foster clients. This candidate must utilize proprietary tools to acquire new clients and positively impact consumers, clients and visual trends. We are heading into our busiest sales season of the year, June- Oct and are excited to meet some great candidates!

  • First-hand knowledge of hand-made props and visuals is desired.

Assistant Creative Sales Rep

The Assistant Creative Sales Rep will aim to grow the opportunities available to Judith von Hopf within the wider context of the marketplace. This person will support and leverage customer relationships, knowledge of the industry, and visual expertise to gain and foster clients with the Creative Sales Consultant. This candidate must utilize proprietary tools to constantly assist and and positively impact consumers, clients and visual trends. This client will work directly with the Director of Creative Marketing & Sales and support all needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work directly with the VP of Creative & Sales, and the Director of Creative Marketing & Sales to develop and manage relationships throughout the company.
  • Execute daily client emails and calls as a self starter and self motivator generating and fostering relationships.
  • Will act as an assistant to the Director of Creative Marketing & Sales for all top tier clients.
  • Translate clients’ goals and vision into actionable and measurable creative roll outs with the support of the Director of Creative Marketing & Sales.
  • Monitor the latest trends in the visual industry, including creative elements, props, displays, and merchandising in order to improve company performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best be served.
  • Work closely with the JVH Studio team and project managers to ensure all information per project is communicated clearly through a series of templates request forms in a timely manner.
  • Ensure an organized, outgoing and positive demeanor in all scenarios.
  • Must be able to keep a cool head in hot situations.
  • Must be able to manage time exceptionally and work diligently.
  • Must be open and willing to work on additional creative projects; such as instagram and blog content, creative market research.
  • Should be willing to travel to the East and West coast to attend major client meetings with the Director of Creative Marketing & Sales

Graphic Design Intern

The Graphic Design Intern must be focused and organized. This candidate will be key for all internal and external branding documents. Must be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and have previous experience rendering store fronts (windows) and/or indoor spaces. Should be able to compile imagery for external moodboards and tearsheets with insight to the current fashion/retail industry trends.

Creative Marketing Intern

The Creative Marketing Intern must be goal and detail oriented. This candidate will be key for all Social Media channels (Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest) and be able to support in making marketing calendars. Applicant must be highly skilled in graphic design and be able to conduct and implement small photo shoots.

Visual Design Intern

The Visual Design Intern must be very creative and detail oriented. This candidate will be key for all visual elements including props and sample builds. Should also have knowledge and know-how of the visual industry as a whole, and be capable of compiling competitive and market field research for internal and external usage. The Visual Design Intern should be tapped into all things aesthetic and visual and retail industry trends.
